I've been pondering Sara915's crisis; I also suspect that having a companion would help with her attention problems, but I also predict that the introduction itself will be fraught with difficulty, given that it will be another change for an already strung-out cat.
I was wondering if introductions might work better if combined with the move; since everything else will already be new, the new cat might not stand out so dramatically. Also, all her (the existing cat's) old patterns will be briefly disrupted by the move, might be a good time for another change.
