My hubby left a Flaxseed oil gell pill out and we found it under the table slightly chewed on. I don't know if she ingested any or if it is poisionous. Does anybody know????

I wouldn't think it would hurt her at all....I know a few people that add it to their pets food to aid with constipation and skin allergies. I've used it many times with horses....

I agree with taterbug. I believe that's in ingredient in a lot of cat foods too. While an excessive amount might have some consequences, I don't think Marcie should have any problem with the amount she got.

I would think the worst is that she might have some loose poo if she got too much oil...best case, she may just get a nice shiny coat out of the deal

I would really make sure he's more cautious in the future. Flaxseed or fish oil won't hurt them, but a multivitamin or an iron pill can kill a cat (or a small child for that matter).
