Have you ever tried a food that you once thought you never would? I have- oysters. I should have gone with my gut instinct on that. They are awful. 

Yes, I tried husband's tripe soup. Delish.

Have you ever been to the Vatican?

Yes.  I saw the Sistine Chapel and other art works there.

Have you ever been in a play other than high school or earlier?  I was.

Nope. Could not learn lines. Ever.

Have you ever refused to pay for service? I once refused to pay for a bad haircut.

Yes. I once put a stop on a check after discovering a babysitter had been making my daughter ill by giving her sugar water, despite being told repeatedly not to do so.   

Would you ever drive on expired tags?  I did while waiting for the stickers to arrive because it was the only way I could get to work.

Well I certainly have by accident . And also they get mailed to my parents' house (because I lived there when I bought the car and never updated my address) so sometimes I don't pick them up for a few days. I've only been pulled over for it once. . .there's a lot of open road and not a lot of deputies around here :lol3:.


Would you ever drive on a flat tire (ruining it and possibly the rims too) to get somewhere safer for tire-changing? That's what the highway people recommend :/. They say you should not pull over on the interstate unless you have no choice.

Moot question as I don't know how to drive.

Would you ever pick up a hitchhiker when driving?

Yes, and I have several times.

Would you ever work a job where you traveled the majority of the time?

When I was younger I would have loved a job like that.  Now?  Not so much.

Would you ever get a tattoo of your SO's name? 

No but I do have a memorial tattoo for my late DH. It's a black bear sitting by a pine tree. I always called him bear so it's a portrait that's not a portrait to anyone but me. Unless I explained it to someone they would just think I liked black bears- which I do. They are a close second to cats as my very favorite animal

Would you get a matching tattoo with anyone? I'd get one with DD but she said no so..... 

If it had a special meaning I would consider it.

I have done many many times. One time a Puerto Rican family ran out of money at the cash register with their groceries. They wanted to put them back, but I paid for them. I remember the abuela was in tears.

Have you ever gotten into a street fight?

NO!   Too dangerous and I'm only small. I'd lose.

If you saw a dog locked inside a car on a hot day would you break a window?

Well I'd call the cops first but if the dog looked to be in immediate danger I would. I'd like to think the dog owner would be grateful but I know that doesn't always happen :/.

Would you ever go rock climbing?

Yes. I've been rock climbing a few times. My husband is an avid climber. I wouldn't tackle the kind of things he climbs though.

Would you ever sunbathe on a nudist beach? Yes, you have to take your clothes off.

Yes.  I have done this on Cape Cod.  I would probably do it again, though there are no nude beaches near here that I know of.  

Would you ever go to the Burning Man festival?

Yes, I'd love to go. It's on my bucket list.

Would you ever go foraging for food in the countryside?

I know where some good mushroom spots are and I have cooked with them.  I know where some wild berries grow, too.

Would you ever ride a bicycle to work daily?

Yes. I've done this for years. It's quite a common thing in this part of the world.
