I've been lurking...

and finally decided to join. You have a great site here and I hope to be able to contribute to it.

I have 5 cats ranging in age from 9 to 3. They seem to seek me out. My vet says that they know a sucker when they see one.


I have a new puppy on the way too. He'll be here in about 3 weeks.

Welcome! What type of puppy are you getting soon?

I'm getting a Sammy. I can hardly wait. Two of my cats will warm up to him quickly I think. The other one may try to kill it.


Naw, they'll be fine after a few days. It's been a long time since I have had a dog but I have always had dogs and cats together and they have always become the best of friends. I do expect that the cats will get a bit more exercise in the very near future though.
