Lady, my foster cat, should be due any time. It's been about a week now since I started seeing a little discharge. It's mostly been clear, except for two days ago there was a tiny bit of red/pink discharge and then back to the clear. I've been checking her "down there" once or twice a day and the discharge seems to have stopped... nothing at all yesterday or today. I finally managed to take her temperature last night and it was 99.9. The babies are still moving around but not as active as they were a few days ago. Her "down there" area softened up last Friday or Saturday and I thought that meant she was close. She's eating and drinking fine, acting normally. Two nights ago I know she sat up all night long, meowing at random, and digging at her box. But nothing since. Her stomach is nice and tight and is even bigger every day.
But when should I start to worry, and call the vet? The fact that the discharge was there and then just suddenly stopped makes me worry a little bit.
I had originally estimated her due date as June 19th, but I really have no clue since I don't know when she was bred. I was joking with John last night that she must be holding out for that day since that's his birthday.

i wouldnt worry just yet , fluffy had discharge that started about 10 days before she was due , then nothing right up untill she went into labour. as long as she seems ok in her self and no smelly /green discharge then all should be ok. give it a cupple of days , if your still worried (or even before) just give a quick call to the vets for them to decide.
keep us updated.

I agree with tasha, if she's eating and drinking and acting fine, she's probably a-okay. Especially if this is her first litter, it can take awhile! Be worried if she goes into hard labor and doesn't deliver a kitten within an hour or two--but she's not even close to that stage, it sounds like!
