Neil & I messed around with the "stupid" trailer brake thing last night for two hours and I said let me just take the truck in tomorrow to have a pro check it out!!

We sure wasted enough time as the ground wire was corroded and the shop I took it too replaced the plug (Neil said he could have done that!!) It was only $25 a small price to pay for having it done right though.

But the guy said I did not really have any brakes on the trailer yesterday so I was really lucky I didn't have to do any quick stops.
We will hook it up tonite and make sure its okay as I have to use it tomorrow and maybe friday too.

Well the brakes still aren't working!!! We have the trailer hooked up and I stopped at the place that replaced the part on the truck and one of the guy's said it's gotta be the trailer. We tried the ground and it didn't help. Neil thinks he found the loose wire but I went and got another load of mulch anyway-he will try to solve the problem tonite.!! I do feel better drinving with the trailer however backing up is still a pain.
