DH bought me a sweater with pumpkins all over it. Now, I'm not a picky girl, but there are several things wrong with this:

1. It's June and had a high today of 80 degrees.

2. It's a sweater. I'm not that fond of them.

3. I'm not 85. Really this sweater is made for a grandma who passes out Tootsie Rolls on Halloween.

I've asked and NOT received answers to the following questions:

1. How did you find such a sweater in Ohio in June?

2. What kind of girl do you think I am?

He was so darn proud of himself. I have no idea what to say.

Was it supposed to be a joke?! Maybe to make you feel better?

I've got no ideas, if John ever bought me something like that, he'd end up wearing it

I have no idea. He just dropped it off and then dashed out the door to a meeting.

He keeps asking me if I like it. To be honest, I can't see anyone liking it. Ever.

No. Never. Not going to happen.

I'm not posting a picture just to protect my husband. If anything ever happens to me I want whom ever comes next in his life to find out the hard way.

This thread is useless without pics! LOL!!! Come on show us the sweater!!!! Maybe you could auction it off on EBay and use the proceeds to buy something equally hideous for DH!

In a word....LIE!

Kiss him and thank him. Model it for him. Then say it's really warm and you will put it away for when the weather is cooler. Then shove it in the back of a drawer and forget about it

You don't want to appear ungrateful or hurt his feelings. Pretend, pretend, pretend

I have no idea. I can just imagine his thought process.

My wife likes pumpkins.

My wife likes brown.

Ohhhh.... the perfect match.

OMG, are you serious?

My boyfriend would never buy me anything like that...ever! Unless, of course, it was supposed to be some sick twisted joke!

Sweetie, what you need to do is LOVE this sweater.
Wear it around the house (when you don't have company of course), always keep it out and in sight, and just LOVE this sweater.
Show him how much you appreciate it...
then order him one!!!!! See if he likes it

Scratch was sniffing it. Perhaps I can say that he made off with it.

Maybe you can get Bit to bury it in the litter box.

Really, it's long enough to be a dress. It's Uber-unsexy. Also, for some reason it only came in "One Size Fits All" so that means that I could also invite three of my friends to come over and build a tent out of it.
