I don't think I'm necessarily one or the other.

I don't wear heels and I don't wear short skirts, but I have pllleeenty of cute shoes and dresses and skirts (that aren't too short). I also like my jeans with the big hole in the crotch and my ratty old t-shirts. There's a time and a place for everything.

I also don't mind getting dirty or scummy or sweaty or wet or what have you...but again, time and a place. I wouldn't want to be dirty and scummy and wet in my cut work clothes or sun dress.

I've been able to hold my own in a University system, which are typically WAY male-dominated, and the classical music field which is a good ol' boys field if there was one.

I like pink, I have really cute underwear, I collect bath supplies and I like movies like Love Actually. I wanted to be a Disney Princess as a child.

Of course, I also wanted to be a doctor, lawyer and astronaut.

I'm not into team sports (watching or playing) but I love bicycling/mountain biking, swimming, jogging, hiking, camping, etc. I also like to walk down NoMich and pretend I can afford Chanel.

So, I'd say it's useless for me to peg myself. I'm totally comfortable calling myself feminine, but I don't really strongly identify with either girly girl or tomboy.

I'd say I'm a little bit of both, but more tomboy than girly. Probably 75% / 25%! On a daily basis, I dress for comfort more than looks. My favorite shoes are men's boots! They're hard to find in a size men's 6, but I manage.
The only make up I wear on a daily basis is lipstick, because my lips are naturally so pale they look blue, and I got sick of people asking me if I was ok...

I love getting dirty- any excuse will do! Crawling under the house to repair a pipe, climbing in attic to hunt a rat (don't ask!
), search and rescue, soccer, camping, you name it! And I wear my dirt proudly. He he.

I also prefer jeans and a t-shirt to anything else, and hardly ever do anything to my hair- including blow drying. I hate clothes shopping, mainly because I can never find anything that fits! I'm also so opinionated and outspoke that I've insulted some men I work for. Mainly men from, excuse the stereotype, other cultures where women are less valued.

But, I LOVE dressing up! I'm too lazy to do it on a regular basis, but if I have an excuse, I love putting on a nice dress or skirt, heels, make up, and doing my hair and nails. I like dancing, I like the theater, I get mushy and emotional over anything (especially my fur babies
).

I may not be the most feminine woman ever, but I am me- woman and PROUD!

I guess id say im in the middle.

I like dressing pretty simple, with my jeans or shorts and t-shirt. youll never see me in a skirt unless im at a wedding! I where makeup most the time, usually just Powder, eyeliner/mascara and eye shadow. but there are a lot of times i dont where makeup. I usually just pull my hair back in a ponytail, but I straiten it sometimes too. I have 3 pairs of converse and some flip flops.
I love doing stuff outside like camping and stuff and playing with the animals, im not afraid of getting dirty, but ill be sure to take a shower as soon as i get inside! Bugs freak me out realy bad, but I love seeing snakes! I guess you could say im more girly now then when i was a kid. I have my days where im more girly and my days where im tomboy-ish.

I would have to say I'm a girly-girl. Hair, make-up, clothes....purses!!! Lately, I've developed a Coach purse fetish. e-Bay will definitely be my downfall.

Being single for the last 20 years has made me become very self sufficient and rather handy at fixing things around the house. I like to work in the garden and do small repairs. I used to be able to wrench on a car with the best of them (back in the day, I had my own tools and even a timing light, and could do my own brake jobs and even re-build a carburator.) Now, I make enough money to pay someone to do that kind of thing!!! I love to do girly things like quilt and sew clothing, arrange flowers and decorate. I detest camping....I'd rather stay in a nice hotel with a hot tub. My vacations are ususally to the city rather than 'back-to-nature'. I'm not afraid of hard work, or getting dirty....but at the end of the day, it's a bubble bath, a candle and a glass of wine for me!

I'm mostly a tomboy.

I have long hair but I brush it around 3 times a week (it's semi wavy and always looks slightly tousled but doesn't really tangle) I pick clothes on comfort before looks, although you can get both fortunately.

I love being out in the countryside and I used to have a horse so I was good at going out to get my horse from the field with just a bridle and then ride bareback and herd the rest of the horses in the field back to their main pen so it'd be easier for others to grab a horse if they needed to.

However I'm a complete city rat now and I love living in a middle of a city too, where I can walk everywhere and it just takes me a very short time to walk to one of many small cafes where I can go sit and read and watch people go by through the window.

I wear skirts when I feel like it but the main problem is I don't like to shave my legs (especially not after getting Nikita where I almost always have a bunch of scabs after cat scratches that makes leg-shaving even more complicated) so there's that. I don't like heels and actually I don't really like shoes and end up being barefooted a lot. I always slip my shoes and socks off at my desk at work, my boss is fine with it fortunately.

I don't like cars, never have, but I live in a city where you don't have to drive so partly it's just from lack of exposure in a way.

Oh and I'm a sci-fi geek and a software engineer. Big geek
Most of my friends are guys, partly from be working and having studied in such a male dominated industry.

Ummmmm, neither. I would twist my ankle in heels. If I wear a skirt or dress more then once a year, you should by a lottery ticket. If it takes more then 10 minutes to get ready in the morning it is too long. I can't remember the last time I wore make up and I haven't had a hair cut since last October. I am neat and put together, but I really don't care how I look - not a big priority for me. So not a girly girl.

I am uncoordinated. Horrible at sports. A huge Klutz. I can't roller blade and I fall off my bike. The only sport I like is lacrosse and I get injured everytime I play, so I only watch it. Formula 1 racing isn't bad, but I rather read. So I'm not a tomboy either.

I once scared the you know what out of my father by walking up to him with a 4+ foot angry racer while he was fishing.
My mother always hated that as well. Instead of playing with dolls, I was out catching lizards, toads, insects, or at the very least playing in the mud. I also breed/keep insects for my reptiles, these alone would disgust most people.
I LOVE herping! At one point I had a whole basement full of cold blooded pets and it was awesome.... I even had a burmese that was so big (and 100% blind) it had it's own bedroom. One day we were watching my parents dog and when we let them out there was a 5-6'black rat snake at the back door. Matt freaked out because I was about to grab it bare handed (I'm very educated on our local herps) but he was concerned that it might be venemous!
Silly boy... so, we got a cooler and a golf club, I caught it and trapped it in the cooler and we released it in the field across the street.

I had gauges once and let them close up (was requested by my cousin for her wedding), I wore girly earrings for about a year, and then stretched em again... I don't know what my problem is
I'm thinking about letting mine shrink... I never knew it'd take that long though. Currently I wear my girly earing through my tunnels.

See, I was very patient and did the tapering myself. I started at 14 and am at a 4 or 2 right now (can't remember). I just put the tapers in and let them slowely stretch and the ONLY time mine hurt was when Matt and I were horsing around and one got pushed in. I personally think that with tunnels that they are fairly attractive. It's the big dark plugs that look less than femanine IMO. (BTW: what Trixie has are tunnels... plus are solid.)

I wear plugs too sometimes and I definitely get the non-feminine comments on those... I have alot of pinchers (I stretched my ears with pinchers... not tapers like you should) and they are uncomfortable to wear to bed... I like the tunnels best! It took me a year to get my 6 gauges to close to a normal earring size! I've had my 4 gauges in for about 7 months now... I better figure out if I am going to keep them sooner or later!

I've had mine gagued for years! I started about 5 years ago and hit 4 (which is what I'm at now... I checked) over 2 years ago.

I'm also planning a girly day next wednesday to get ready for my wedding. I figure that will be my only uber girly day!

Both. I can get dirty easy, but outdoorsy stuff ain't my thing. I dislike camping very strongly, it's boring. Give me a 5 star hotel any day!

I LOVE my dresses & heels, but never actually wear them much. I mostly go to the shelter & roll in the mud or play in the pool with the dogs.

I'm not the type to sit still.....but I dunno.....camping is just a tent & sleeping outdoors. What do you do all day??
I made it an entire 2 hours the morning after I went camping.

Without a shadow of a doubt a tomboy. My dad decided I was suppose to be a boy before I was born but when I arrived a girl, it made little difference, I was the fishing one, help with carpentry projects one, watch and play baseball one. It seems strange compared to my two sisters who are extremely girly-girl and sometimes look at me as if I am from another planet. I am fond of telling them Don't knock it I can kill my own spiders

We don't camp in a tent- we have a 40ft camper, with AC, beds, a full kitchen & full bathroom

We have all our family & friends out there so its always fun. We're right on the lake so we're always fishing or boating/skiing/jet skiing/ect. We're at Flying Goose so we have our golf carts to run around in too, since the campground is pretty big.

They have things to do too- canoe's, paddle boats, miniature golf, an arcade... there's plenty to do to keep a girl busy!

Thats not real camping!
I love it because it's so quiet. During the day we'll go exploring, hiking, swimming and socializing... people at camp sites are usually very friendly. At night we LOVE sitting and watching the fire w/ a few beers and some good conversation. It's just very relaxing to me.

Yeah. I have a small tent for like 2 people. Big enough to fit me & the 2 dogs.
No boat, just me, my dogs, the tent & my car. B-O-R-I-N-G!

No wonder... you need to recruit people to camp with... and get a bigger tent! LOL Matt and I have a 4-person (ya right!) and it fits our queen air mattress and our bags comfortable.
