I'll be blunt: I really don't want Zoe to be a picky eater! I doubt she will be, she scarfs down anything we give her, but still, I know this can happen in a heartbeat and it's a pain in the butt. So I figured, why don't I prevent this at an early age? How about altering between brands of food, so she has a variety of flavors and doesn't get bored? Also, if you feed her all different kinds, she's getting benefits from every different brand. I wouldn't go ALL OUT, but it'd be something like this...

WET: Nutro Natural Choice / California Natural / Friskies / Fancy Feast
DRY: Nutro Natural Choice / Purina

I would kind of mix the Nutro and Purina, since we've always had good luck with the latter and she loves the taste, but Nutro is healthier. With wet, she gets lots of flavors and varieties, and nutrition benefits from eating different kinds. Is this safe/healthy for her? It prevents her from being picky and breaks the boring routine of same thing every single day. What do you think?

Personally I like to stick to one kind of premium dry food. But I do vary the canned and also give people food such as hamburger, chicken, and cheese.

I finish one can before opening another - so for 2 cats one can lasts 2 meals (they get dry in the morning; canned at nite). A variety of canned (beef, chicken, liver, lamb, and sparingly fish (usually salmon) does not make them picky cats.

Okay! Well, I'll keep feeding her the Nutro for her dry, and keep to that. I can see how, that being the "core" meal for Zoe, I should not switch around. But as far as wet... I'll go ahead and just pick up varying brands and flavors of canned. Thanks for your response!
