Okay, so suppose you would talk to someone on Friday and tell him you could help him get out of a lot of troubles and you made him the happiest man in the world. then after 1 day you find it's a little problem for you and now you're facing with the fact you have to talk to this person again and tell him "remember what i told you on friday? hmm,,,, so take it back" - what if you must say a such thing but you really don't want to? what would you do in that case? any ideas?
it's really important for me.....

It's important to be honest.

Talk to him and tell him that you tried your best to help him out, but weren't able to manage it after all and that you are sorry, but you gave it your best try.

In the future, it's better to not make promises that you can't keep. Instead say you will try your best to help, but that you can't make any promises.

Wait... maybe I'm reading this wrong. A friend asked you to do something important for him, you said yes, then found out it was "a little problem" to do it. If it's a big deal for him and a little deal for you, why not help your friend out?

I read it to mean that he wasn't able to get the problem fixed as he thought he would be able to, not that it was an inconvenience for him to even try.

But I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the first time
