Drain vacuum bottle

Hi,

Has anyone had any experience using a drain tube bottle. My cat had a tumor removed near his skull, but has a drain tube and a bottle attached to it that i need to clean and then vacuum it again.

Does anyone know the amount of times i need to do it as i forgot what the vet said with respect to how many times.

I will call him tomorrow but thought i would ask here incase anyone has used one before.

You squeeze the bottle then place the tube into a top threaded into the bottle..then when you let go it starts to suck and starts to fill with a blood color liquid.

Thank you

That sounds so serious that I think only a vet should advise you on that.

Even if it's after hours, call the vet's number. There should be a phone number referring you to a doctor for after-hours emergencies.
