Thanks Nial! You don't need to get rid of your car! We each have our own cars and a Harley... its do-able, trust me!
Summertime is too nice to be driving around in a car... plus, it gets waaaaay better gas mileage than our cars!

That's really nice Kenz, DH first bike that we bought was a 883 and he converted it to a 1200 and boy would it ever fly. I had a 2001 1200 Custom that I rode until I started having back problems and then I had to sell it, but DH still has his, it is a Heritage Springer and a good ride, you know with a Harley the parts and chrome are never ending. I'll try to post a pix in a minute.

You can get one as long as you promise to take a picture of you and Jack riding around on it! :lo3:

I'm sure he'd enjoy it!

Thanks everyone! He's out washing & waxing it now...
We're going on a ride in awhile here. We're riding it as much as we can, since its going in on Tuesday for a few days to get the new tire on it & some other little things fixed... for free

Thats why John wants them too, he says they are a little more comfortable
A friend of ours has them on his bike too.

Oh and I know all about the parts & accessories, he's always doing something to it!

Thanks! We'll never get a carrier for the boys. Ever! His bike is far too loud and it would really scare the living daylights out of them!

It is beautiful. I get to see a lot of Harleys. The dude across the street from me is Hell's Angels (nicest guy ever, BTW) and he has a gorgeous bike and every weekend and some week nights there is a plethora of Harley's in front of his house and mine. I just love them!

When my bike was new it had Buckhorn handlebars, but after a couple of years I replaced them with 10" "baby" Apehangers on a 4" pullback bar, and I no longer get a pinched nerve in my back - apes REALLY make it more comfortable to ride.

A good friend of mine has a softtail and he straps his cocker spaniel's carrier onto the back seat - she LOVES to go riding with her daddy!
He started her in it as a puppy so that he'd have the freedom to take her with him on trips and stuff.

I'm not so sure about the ape's, but I'm sure htey will look great. Anything to make the ride better!

I can't wait to get my little backrest!!
