Pregnant cat not gained a lot of weight...

Hello All,
I have a pregnant girl-I am a cat breeder but still fairly new, I have had one litter-
this girl has gained not much weight at all during her pregnancy, she is on day 60 today but eats well today a lot-and I am wondering does little weight gain mean tiny litter or can little weight gain mean big litter too
She is already is expressing milk also-does anyone know how soon kittens may come once milk is apparent.

I do believe it is any where after 59 days but not over 70 days i do believe.......Im sure someone will come along and be able to tell you more.....good luck with ur baby

I would guess that a small ammount of weight gain would mean a small litter, not a large one.
My cat did not get milk untill after she had her fist baby, and boy after that the milk came rushing in. I think I've heard that after milk comes it could be up to a week before she delivers.

My queens usually delivered within 48 hrs when I could experss milk. As long as she's eating good and no other problem, she's probably fine. She may only be carrying less then 4 kittens and that's why she's not gained weight like a cat that would have over 4. You might even get one or two.

BTW what kind of cat is she? Pictures?

Yes I was also wondering what kind of cat you breed. It would beinteresting to see pictures of her and the male you bred her too. So we can imagine the outcome.
