Hi,
I am not sure how far along my cat Sunshine is. My guess is that she is due June 22. She has been nesting all day today. (scatching to get in the closet and meowing all day) Her nipples are big and plump. She is definately bigger but I see no signs of fetal movement. This is her 2 pregnancy and last time there was a lot of movement. When do cats show fetal movement? Could it be that my guess is right and that she is justing nesting really early? She is real lazy which I know is common but my concern is with the fetal movement. Could it be that I just missed it? Can the kittens be so small that I would not feel them? I don't even feel golfsize balls in her tummy. Any comments would be great.

I think that you should begin to feel movement right around that time that she is due. If it was a case where she is an outdoor cat or you let her out or something, then you may not have the dates accurate. Just be ready with a vets number handy or an ER vet in case there are problems and she has them in the middle of the night or something.

Please have her spayed asap after this litter. You can do it when the kittens are 8-10 weeks old and get all the kittens done too all at once. If you need help finding low cost clinics, just tell us where you live. There is no need for her to keep having continuous unwanted and unnecessary litters forever. Plus it is a lot healthier for her to be spayed.
