We go to great care to name our kitties, and then call 'em just about everything else! No wonder they don't come when we call!

Here are some of our favourites:

Felix: Mister Felix, Lardbutt, Heyyyyy Gorgeous

Fenwick: Miss Prissy Pants, Spottybutt, Fennie Bug

Fergie: Ferglet, The Princess

What goofy names do you call your cats?

I don't really have any nicknames for PHX. I always call him "puppy dog", simply because he acts like a dog! Other than that... I don't have any nicknames

BTW: I've always been wanting to PM you and tell you that I'm going to come to your house and steal Fergie
I'd steal Felix as well but he's too big! LOL

Yes, that Fergie is a little doll, isn't she?

Our newest kitty, who came to us after being thrown out of a car last August at the age of six weeks, carries the very grand name of St. John Dundee. "St. John" comes from the name my brother gave to a stray who hung around our house for awhile back in Austin 30 years ago, and "Dundee" comes from the famous brand of Scottish marmalade, which is the same color he is.

But I'm the only one who ever calls him St. John -- he is more commonly known as:

Little Guy (because he was so tiny when we took him home as a foster)
The Baby
Punkin
Foxtail (for his truly amazing tail, bigger than he is)
Foxy
Brighteyes
Hurricane Dundee (for the swirling "classic tabby" markings on his sides)

...And once, when my mom didn't know anyone was listening, I heard her call him her little snugglebunny.

I don't know why but I call Danny Wiggle Worm. Sometimes this becomes Wigg, Worm, or Mr. Worm. (He doesn't have any parasites!

I like to call Evie "Presh-kus", a purposeful mispronunciation of "precious", or Kinny-kins, a nickname of her nickname "Evie-kins".

My dog P-Chan has the nickname "Who", from things like "Who wants to go on a walk", and my dog Sheba is The Queen, but according to her that's not a nickname, just a fact!

Milo is just plain Milo no nick names for him but Pepsi has loads.
She is a very slow kinda "vacant" cat, not a lot going on in her head basically. She is very sweet but just sits and stares at walls! The cheap version of Pepsi (for all you Brits) is something called RolaCola, so she gets called that a lot amoungst other things.
I know it sounds mean but we really love her! She is our special needs kitty.

Big hugs for Pepsi

*goes to hide the Fergle*

I don't blame you for not stealing Felix; I think I'm going to get a hernia every time I lift him. o_O

Bob = Bob Bobs or Bobster
ROFL. My son (now almost 17) started calling my dad "Bob-Bob" when he was a baby. It's funny seeing this hulking teenager referring to his grandfather as "Bob-Bob". What's even funnier is, my dad's name is Dwight.

Okay, let's see...

Shere Kahn: Kahn, k-nif-icuss (no actual hyphens but 'knife' pronouced with the "k"), k-nif (knife.. he was really skinny for the first two years cause he wouldn't eat).. Spot.. Slink.. Stretch and Bubba

Joyeux: Swirl, Marbled Menace, pretty girl.. trot trot (she trots everywhere)

Noel: Ms Thing, meow meow, Ms. Meow.. stripe

Bagheera: Freckle, Ms. Mau, sweet girl..Baggie, baggins, bags..

Pogue: Capital T (as in we've got trouble with a capital T, right here in River City...).. point, tiny terror.. Mr. Tonk..and the politically incorrect term due to him being the only kitty with slanting eyes... "slant eye".. mostly cause he is quite good at casting the hairy eyeball out of one slanted eye which really adds emphasis...

So, in order for the guests to be able to "identify" and indicate which cat they're talking about without having to remember our goofy names for em... they're Spot (Kahn is rosetted), Swirl (Joyeux is a marbled bengal), Freckle (Bags is an Egyptian Mau), Point (Pogue is a pointed Tonk), and Stripe (noel is our DSH Mackeral tabby).
