Sending PM's to someone under 18?

OK, so I know that if someone on TCS is under 18 can not PM. This is completely understandable, but how can I communicate with them then? I just saw someone online today that is from Arizona and would like to chat with them, but they are under 18! So, is there anyway we can talk?
