It really irritates me that work only buys the cheapo toilet paper - I mean it is like tissue paper, thin and flimsy. Come on people - invest a little more money in the TP for your employees' sake.

What does your work do?

What brand do you use at home?

I have been using Royale for a long time. I recently tried Charmin, and wasn't too fond of it.

I'm cheap at home: I buy Scott, Marcal or whatever store brand has 1,000 sheets per role.

At the office they buy the expensive stuff (400 sheets per roll & cushy) - we're a VERY small office.

My office buy cheap scratchy crap.
At home we either use quilted northern or angel soft (I think that is what its called)

I like Charmin but it doesn't break down as well in septic tanks(well atleast that is what I was told)

At work they use one that disintegrates quickly - I can see that.

At home I only like Cottonelle (name has changed and I can't remember the new name). I tried Royale and didn't like it.

At home we have Target brand. DH sometimes uses the Cottonelle wipes. I have no idea what there is at work, but it's something cheap.

I've had some "intestinal discomfort" today
and I am glad we buy Charmin Ultra. After a couple of "moments" even it was beginning to feel like very coarse sandpaper.

I've heard tissue in public toilets described as "John Wayne Toilet Paper". Rough, tough, and it don't take (insert "s" word for poop) off no one!

We usually get mid to higher quality brands, whatever is having a nice sale.

OMG this post just reminded me of a great moment that happened years ago...

I was working at a chain restaurant at the time and the corporation had decided to change their toilet paper to a cheaper brand. So at the daily staff meeting (in the middle of the restaurant no less) the managers had said that they knew it was bad stuff and we just had to deal with it for a while.... when one of the other girls in the group shouts out "BAD?! I've been to shanty bars in Brooklyn that have better toilet paper than this!!" The whole restaurant got quiet and then everyone just died laughing. Man... that was just hilarious.

Anywho... it's scott all the way here.

I use the Shoprite brand which is where I shop in my area. I use single ply since double ply, I was told can mess up your toilet bowl, it doesn't flush as easily.

It depends on how much you use, if you have to use twice as much single ply you're obviously not helping(or saving) in any way. ... Now if you're like my brother in law who has to use half a roll whenever he visits
then single ply might be a better choice.

Double nice!!

I once worked for a guy who made us buy our own toilet paper.

I usually buy the "green" TP. It's not too sandpapery and I like buying green when I can.
