It was so funny last night. My 2 year old was licking his hands and rubbing them across his face. I asked him "Kevin, what are you doing?" thinking it was kinda gross. He looked at me and said "mommy, Kevin cat!" and he continued to "groom" himself. When he was done grooming himself he started crawling around the floor meowing and rubbing up against my leg.

Can you tell he has always been around cats? Now he wants to be one.

It was actually kinda gross all the spit on his hands and on his face, but he was grinning ear to ear and happy, so, what's the harm!

How cuuuuuuuuute!!! It may have looked gross, but how sweet! "Mommy, I've changed my name. It is now 'Mr. Kevin Kitty'!!!" That's adorable...

Hilarious!

Has he attempted to groom any of the cats with his tongue yet?
I just wondered because I have caught my husband licking the cats and he's supposedly an adult

Yes - he tries all the time with Gabby, cause Gabby could care less what anybody does to him. I have had to stop him from licking the cat's butts (star hole as it were) - he seems fascinated lately with their bums!

He's more of a meower - he likes things loud.....all the time. He just doesn't get the quiet voice thing.

I wish!! We are working on the potty thing, but limited success so far!

Now if I could just get the cats to use the potty I'm sure he would too!

Well, there you go! Just tell him the potty is his litter box and it might help. Of course, if he tries to scratch to cover it up, it may be a little messy.
