Speaking of bug chasing.......

Does any of your cats or dogs chase bees and eat them?? the cats chase bugs, but the dog chases and eats all sorts of bees!!! dosent matter size or sting, he eats them all

P.S. Dog is a 4 year old Rottweiler,lol

Our dog Jake does. He was stung inside the mouth once by a wasp. That was a fun trip to the vet

My m-i-l is a Master Gardener, with a beautiful back yard full of all kinds of plants. She also has several bee hives.
When we were in college, my future husband's Old English Sheepdog used to play wth the bees. I have no idea if she was ever stung, but she used to mouth the bees all the time. The water intended for the bees (a couple of washtubs with a log positioned in it for a place for the bes to land) was a favorite sport for Maudie to catch the bees. she also liked to knock them off the log. <sigh> I don't know how she managed to do it and not be attacked.
