Must be tough being "The Queen"

Fafeena is 14 years old & we are now in a position to decide "when".

Tonight, she was happily atop her "throne". The only other cat she will allow in the garage is Cow. She used to let my RB Sandy Paws in as well.

For 14 years old, she is very surly still. You can see, her teeth are pretty bad, but the vet doesn't think she will survive anesthesia again. Her hearing & sight aren't the greatest, but she can hear a can of wet food opened from a mile away!

Aww... what a pretty girl! I'm sorry your having to decide "when"... it hasn't been your week has it? I'm sure she's had a full and happy life in your garage though.

She will not make it through another winter, that is for sure. So, we are expecting to give her as long as she needs, but are well aware she won't get to see another Christmas. I have spoke with my vet about this as well & he does not feel it is fair to have her suffer through another winter. And I've tried countless times to make her a housecat.
