Hi!

Here are 2 pics of Snowball (link is below since I cannot post pics yet) He's an adorable ball of white fur from the SPCA.

He has white 'tuff' between all his toes, medium hair coat lenght but look at his face, it's almost V shape.... I'm wondering if he's a Siamese mix.

Wish he was Ragdoll mix but his face doesn't have the look. He's about 8-10 weeks old.

Do you see a predominent breed in him? My Vet couldn't tell. I did search online and cannot find anything du to him being all white...

I call all white cats with hair longer than a short-haired Turkish Vans, but I'm not good at cat breeds.

Snowball is gorgeous! With the blue eyes, can you tell if he is deaf? Many blue-eyed white cats are deaf.

Welcome to TCS btw!!

He's not deaf.... not yet anyway!

He hears everything, so he's not even partially deaf.
I thought maybe he was partially deaf when I played with him at the SPCA but he has shown me wrong since I brought him home.

Welcome to TCS!

Now THAT, is my kinda cat! If only he was deaf....
I myself has two white DSH blue eyed deafies & love them.

IMO, he's a DMH or Domestic Medium Hair. No breeds in there, just a basic "moggie" or mixed breed.

To me that looks like a Turkish Angora. My Turkish angora I thought looked like a Siamese too when i got them it takes 2 years for them to mature, and their body will bet very long, with large ears. and their tail will become like a feather, and he should be very soft.
Where are you from? If you take him to a cat show under pets, the judges will always tell you what they think he is.

Welcome to TCS!

Its hard to say what breeds he may have mixed in, but he would just be considered a Domestic Long (or Medium) Hair.

He's gorgeous!

Thanks!! it does look like he has a Turkish look. I will take monthly pics and post them for sure!

Miyu....I plan on taking him to a cat show as soon as he has all his shots. I would love to have him compete in the pet division. I've never competed before so it would be fun to do. I will train him for walks and socialize him with people. Anyone ever competed with a pet cat? or have tips to share?

whitecatlover.... where can I see pics of your babies? I bet they look beautiful!!

I've been combing and brushing him everyday...he loves it!!! spoiled little baby!
I cannot wait to wash him!!! - have to wait 2 weeks because of his hernia surgery - I do cat grooming for the past 2 years as a hobby, (not a pro although know quite a bit about kitty grooming) so his coat will always be stunning

Thanks again!

I was going to say Angora, too. It's been about a million years since I showed at a pet show, but I know the judges handle them, so get him used that. Pauline was just a scared kitten and wouldn't let them touch her. I was told she might get a prize for spitting the loudest!

Does your cat love to be cuddled and handled? Itâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s funny because so many Turkish angoras love lots of handling, and many Turkish vans are the complete opposite. They canâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t stand being handled, but will follow you around like a puppy. And in Turkey they breed together so which is the most like your kitten? I really think it is a Turkish angora, and I bet when you put him in a cat show that is what they will be judging him by. To me its like looking at a rex cat, if you see a cat with nearly no hair, you know thatâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]s a Rex, maybe not a purebred, but it would still be judged at a show as a rex. When I looked at your cat, the ears and the body, I know it is a Turkish angora. And I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t see an undercoat.

Again what city did you get that cat.

Thanks everybody! and captiva, got it!
thank you!

Snowball likes to be handle, I walk him around in my arms and he looks at everything I'm doing and not trying to get down so I would say he likes to be handle. He likes to follow me also when he has a chance (it's a little hard for him right now because of my oldest kitty - he's ok with my 2nd but a little skittish of the older one) I also don't see an undercoat.

I live in the Tampa Bay area (Florida) and got Snowball at one of the SPCA. There are many cat shows around here so thanks for the tip on 'people handling' Lady Jayne Grey!

juliehiscock... do you have a pic of Leo? I'd love to see what he looks like, maybe we have twins
Mine has gorgious blue eyes like you said, I sure hope they stay that color as they are very striking.
