It was really really windy last night - so bad that I could feel the bed shake. Lucy is all nervous because of it.

This morning is what I woke up to. The branch is from a tree two houses down. I guess some people have had entire trees blow over and my neighbor's tree is leaning.

Now I have to tell Jeff that his truck was damaged - he's up in Montana fishing

OMG! I wouldn't want to live anywhere that trees would fall. DH wants a house with lots of trees. I am too afraid they will land on the house and kill us.

We're getting the winds today. Helps keep the temps from feeling so oppressive. (In the mid 90s)

Wow! That's windy!

I hope it doesn't cost too much to repair.

Has it been really windy in Colorado this spring too? It's been unusually windy up here in Minnesota, and we have had a lot of days with winds gusting from about 35 to 45 miles and hour. And sometimes it goes on like that for days at a time too. Makes it hard to enjoy being outside.

I think you just got the storm we had earlier in the week. It is often windy here in the north metro area but not this bad (winds in nearby Boulder were clocked at 92 MPH). There was a lot of tree damage and trees knocked over which is unusual. Compared with people who had trees knocked over on their homes, we came out relatively unscathed.

The wind can certainly be scary! Sucks to wake up to that, but at least the damage looks minor. I'm glad you weren't injured!
