So all of you with longer hair- what kind of hair ties/ponytail holders do you prefer to use??? My hair is thick/wavy and fairly long so i like to use strong ones that aren't going to snag my hair or constantly break on me. This is the kind i use

I'm lazy about my hair, I just use the jaw clips or leave it down.

Jaw clips can also double as cat toys and cat back scratchers - says Tomas
He comes running when he hears me click one open and shut.

My hair is super short now, but when it was long I used things like this:

I really liked the banana clips because when I put one in my hair looked like in this picture:

And I liked to wear hair bands too. Mine were cheap pharmacy types though, nothing as fancy as this image:

Plus I also wore a full "banana-type" hair accessory like in this link:

I remember banana clips. My mom would try to get me to use them when I was younger but my hair was too fine.

DH uses the no damage ties (elastics). Whenever he'd take them out of his hair and put them on the nightstand Sho would to steal them. For several months he didn't know what happen to the ties
until he woke up one night to see Sho creeping over him to steal one.
Sho eventually stopped stealing.

I use bands similar to the first link posted. My hair is very thick and thinner bands just won't hold it up in a ponytail.

i like scunci too. I have a couple of their thick teal coloured scrunchies. Smaller elastic bands tend to be too thin for my hair and annoying to get on and off. My hair is long, thick and curly

I use the same kind you do, except in the darker colors, like the blacks and blues and browns.
Those are the best.
I hate the kind with the metal thing holding them together, they always somehow hurt my head.
And I use the same kind for my daughter, only the "little kid" kind.

I have long, thick, wavy hair, and I use elastics that are strong enough for my hair. Anything less breaks on me all the time.

I buy them, and then leave them all over, and can never find them... I have a feeling I'll find them all when we move

I use these ones:

Except I get the ones that blend in with your hair- I found some that are for blondes- and they come in about 3 different shades, you can't even see the hairband- I love them!

They break too easily for me. I use the metal ones in black. They are very hard to find since they came out with the ouchless ones.

I have had the opposite problem. I like tight ponytails and the thinner ones hold tighter. If I have a hard time getting them off, I just soak my hair and then slide them off.

I wear the same ones! They don't get stuck in my thick wavy hair
