Sam,

It was a year ago today, that daddy & I had to make the hardest decision of our lives to let you go to the Rainbow Bridge We miss your hugs and kisses... your cute little face. You always knew when we were sad and would put your little white/black paw to our face and kiss us to make it better. Even to the end, you comforted us.

We hope you & your brother Patrick (who missed you so much, he felt had to leave us a month later too) are RIP

You and Patrick both, sent us Max & Sarah, who will never take your place, but they help us feel better when we are sad with their little meows & gentle playful manner. We miss you & love you both very much.

It's always so heartwarming to know how much those furry guys are loved, and so heartbreaking to know how much they're missed.

I hope your guys are playing happily together across the bridge.

I know these anniversaries are so hard to deal with. I am sure your boy is still looking after you though and you will be with him again someday.
