Looks like she's an eastern box?

At least she'll eat in front of you.
My adult male does not like me watching him eat his veggies at all, I have to sneak up to the edge of his pen and peek over. He could care less if I watch him eat insects.

Be careful feeding egg, that's just for treats since it is sort of high in phosphorus. If thats banana on the plate with it, that's high in potassium - a calcium binder, also only to be fed as a rare treat.

Hey, thanks for the info!
She only gets egg every now & then and she rarely eats it ( Occasionally I split an egg into 4 for her and the rats.) Didn't know that about the banana though. The person who had her before us always gave her banana and said it was all she would eat but for us she love veggies and a bit of cottage cheese now & then and of course banana. Will have to limit that from now on.

She has been extra hungry this past week, she laid eggs a couple days ago, but they were all broken when I found them in there.
Not that they would of hatched anyway without a male around.

And yes, she is an Eastern box.

Oh dear, sounds like the person who had her did not feed her right at all.
How long have you had her? If not for that long, she may benefit from a vet visit (with a reptile vet) to make sure she doesn't have metabolic bone disease or any other problems due to improper diet.
No cheese
Turtles and all reptiles are very much lactose intolerant, they've never had dairy and shouldn't ever have for any reason. Just like for kitties, it can give them gas and diarrhea.

If you need any help with diet or other turtle questions you can always pm me or post in the turtle thread.

If she's been in contact with a male turtle within the last 4 years or so, then yes, those eggs would be fertile.
Make sure she has a bowl of water to soak in and somewhere to lay eggs. An average clutch is around 8 eggs, if she doesn't lay them all and becomes egg bound she will die.

And since she's making eggs and laying them, please give her extra calcium. You can give her cuttle bone to bite pieces out of (just leave in her enclosure), and they make pure calcium powder (without phosphorous) just for reptiles.

Easterns really are some of the prettiest and more social of box turtles.
I hope to own one some day.
