Spielberg presents Taken on SciFi

Did anyone else catch this last night? It was the first 2 hour part of a 10, yes 10 part miniseries on SciFi Channel. If you missed it, the first and second parts are being shown tonight.

I'm not real big on sci-fi in general, and definitely not big on the whole alien abduction thing, but I have to say this series is good. Hubby is real big into everything sci-fi and has done all the research into the Roswell crash and UFOs and such, so he made sure to watch it, which meant I watched it. I know what we'll be watching at 9:00 every night for the next 2 weeks. I was impressed, but what else can you expect from Spielberg?

We watched it and it took us right along! So far smart writing, great special effects! Just wish they had arranged to play two sequences back to back instead of repeating the same one 4 times in a row!

I know that tonight they are doing Part 1 at 7:00 followed by Part 2 at 9:00. They've already said that it will be released to DVD, so at least we don't have to record it.

Yes and it was AWESOME! I taped last nights episode as we weren't home but I just discovered that they are showing the previous nights episode at 7:00, and the current nights episode at 9:00. I am watching it now...gotta run!
