This week is our towns festaval (sp?), one of the things you can do is read clues to find a medalion, I figured by the clues it was around the library so I went there to look around and I did'nt find the medalion but in the bushes in the back I did find a stray momma cat and her 5 kittens, judging by they way their eyes and ears were open and how they walked I put them at 31/2 to 4 weeks old, I checked them, they are all girls, I wanted to take all of them but I rode my bike there so I could only take one (I carried it in my coat pocket), when I got home I put a little tuna on my finger and she ate it right up so I put some on a plate and she ate that, she is all black, my girls named her Rascal.

You really should try to get all the kitties. 4 weeks old is way to soon to be away from momma too. If you can get all of them and let them nurse and wean off momma. Get in touch with a shelter and find out if and when they have a TNR event going on and get them all spayed so they can't make more kitten! The kittens shouldn't be away from momma cat until 10 to 12 weeks ideally.

4 weeks really is too young to be alway from their mother- are you going to go back and get the rest of them and keep them until they are old enough to be weaned from her? I think that would be the best idea, that way the one you brought home will be able to be with its mother- and the rest of them will be safe as well
