Hello,

I would love help with this peeing problem????

We can not figure out why our female cat has started peeing in the bathroom sink. She has peed twice now in the sink. One time in front of us and the other time on her own. We are not sure why she has started this. She does share a litter box with our male cat. We clean the box twice a day. She loves the smell of toothpaste and only pees in the sink we brush our teeth in. We need some help. I'm not sure if she has a behavior problem or if it's something else? I look forward to suggestions.

Thank you

Best thing to do is send her to ther vet to check for UTI. I'd be interested to learn your vet's answer. I think that is there's no UTI problems then maybe she's asking for more attention?

Agree with above, be sure there is not infection or illness first. Second suggestion would be, do you have room in the bathroom for a litter box? The kitty/bathroom connection is not rare, some cats connect our use of the bathroom and the smell of and........ It is also recommended to have 2 litter boxes if you have 2 cats.........sometimes they protest to sharing....I know I hate sharing the bathroom with guys!
