Well, our newest girl is in her 9th week of pregnancy (at least I think so!). She is ENORMOUS, I thought Sasha & Missy were big during their pregnancies but this girl seems to be twice as big. Here is a belly picture that I took a few days ago, and she's lots bigger today than she was in that picture:

We've already got names picked out for up to four kittens, have to come up with more if she has more. John calls this girl a "potato cat", so her kittens are going to be Tater, Spud, & Chip... and the fourth name he came up with today: Captain Cuddly Muffin

And if anyone can think of anymore "potato" related names, they'd be appreciated!

Wow she is enormous... then again I've only ever known one pregnant cat. How about French Fry, Curly Fry, Russett, Idaho, Yukon

There are alot of Captains goin on here, aren't there? hehe

So does the momma cat have a name besides "potato cat"?

I'm expecting at least more than 5... I think I told John last night that my guess is 7. Then again, maybe she's just got 4 huge ones in there, LOL. They're very active, he belly is incredibly tight, and she's just sooo big, and heavy. I estimate her pre-pregnancy weight at around 9 pounds or so, she's tall and big-boned, and I think she's at around 13 pounds now.

We're calling her Lady, because when she lays on her back she can NOT get up and she reminds me of a ladybug, LOL.

My guess was 7 too,and thats what I got! And I guessed 7 girls, but I got 6 girls.
Wow, 9 pounds, I think Kalli was 6 pounds before she got pregnant, maybe 7.
I cant wait to see baby pics of hers! You are gonna be really busy with all of those babies!
Just curious, what do you keep the babies you have now in, because kalli and her babies are growing out of their box?

I have a puppy play pen that someone gave me, that's huge. I think the way I have it set up right now it's about 5 feet long and 2 feet wide, plenty of room for their litter box, bed, etc. And that's only about half the size of what I can set it up to be.

Pretty soon they will be climbing right over that. LOL That would keep my kittens in for about two seconds. LOL
Oh, they're already climbing over it! I had to tape horse feed bags all along the insides of the walls to discourage the climbing after having to put them back in 50 times a day, lol.

Nothing really to report yet. I've been saying for four days now that it will be any time and so far nothing. She's had some discharge off and on for three days, her milk is in, and she is absolutely enormous. She's so uncomfortable, she can't lay down unless she's on her back. The poor girl, I hope it's soon though!

Still nothing yet. I thought for sure it would be over the weekend. She just keeps getting bigger and bigger and her stomach is getting tighter. Milk has been in and I could express a little two days ago. She's had discharge on and off for about 6 days now... it alternates between clear and pinkish/red like I would expect right before delivery. But she's still eating and attempting to run around and play. Note I said "attempting to", she's soooooo big that she can barely even clean herself.
I hate not knowing what day she's actually on, because she came to me already pregnant. I don't even have an idea of when she may have gotten pregnant.
Anyway, I'll keep everyone updated if anything happens (which I doubt, LOL).

No news yet. The discharge had stopped yesterday and the day before, but she's had quite a bit today... I noticed a lot in her box that I guess leaked out and she didn't clean up, and she's licking herself a lot. Still eating and drinking fine, doesn't get up and move unless she has to use the litter box though... she's sooooo uncomfortable. The babies are very active and I'm pretty sure I can feel at least 4 individual ones. I can't wait to find out how many she has, she's so HUGE! Maybe tonight? LOL. I'll keep everyone updated!
