One of my neighbors has an outdoor cat that, I assumed, was never fixed. I got my answer. I remember a little while ago seeing her run across the street being chased by a male... and then of course came the typical mating sounds from the empty lot next door.

Well this cat gave birth no more than 4 weeks ago (at *most*... I think it's less).. then yesterday I saw one of the other neighborhood kids biking back to his house from the first neighbors house... and in one hand was a teeny kitten.

That's not good. I'm really worried about that kitten and the rest of the litter... but I don't know these neighbors and I am sure they wouldn't take too kindly to someone pounding on their door and letting them know this is not a good idea.

good idea or not, you have to let them know if that kitten is to small, it CANT be away from mom.

dont worry about what the person might think, just worry about the babies
