The little pictures

if anyone apart form newbies read this... can you tell me what the little pictures next to people's names mean?... how do you get them/give them and what for? Also is it linked to the points system and i noticed a bank type thing????

They are called avatars and are just images that each member picks for what ever reason. Of course, I can't find the thread that explains when and how you get them. Anyone can have them providing they meet some requirements (usually a minimum post count and a minimum lenght of time as a member). I don't think points have anything to do with them though and I'm pretty sure the only way to get a bigger one (you'll notice some are small and some are big) is to become a paying member.

SO, you should be able to now. Just go to your "User CP" and the second to last option under "Setting & Options" should be "Edit Avatar". There you'll find the 5 avatars available to you now.

I think that under Faq's there is some information on alot of the siggys, avatars, points.

thanks for the help... i found a picture for me.... but the ones i really ment are the ones under the word 'donate'. Can't seem to find anything on them as i'm not sure what they are called.

Those little pictures under the word "Donate" are gifts that the member has received - I see you have a couple there as well.

Members are awarded points for each post made, just like real money, you can either carry your points around with you or stash them away in the Bank for safety. Hence the Bank word that you noticed.

You can buy gifts for yourself or others (you do this from the vbPlazaMenu on the menu bar) with the points that you have earned.
