Hi everyone
I'm new here although I found this site ages ago just before I got my cat Marmalade. We got her from a rescue centre and they said she was psychotic and incredibly mean natured, gulp! My OH thought I was bonkers choosing her but I had always said that I wanted to take a cat in that no other person wanted. So 18 months on she has settled in really well and is very loving and not half as mean as she was. Each week she is getting more and more loving
About me, well I am going to be giving up work to do a primary school teacher training course and I am getting married in July 2008.

Hello and a warm welcome to the site from a fellow Brit. now living in Spain Its great here, theres always lots to do, see and learn it can become a bit of an addiction but dont worry you are among good company
How wonderful that you took sweet Marmalade she sounds a treasure and I can wait to see some photos of her

Welcome to TCS and I think that it is great that you adopted a cat that no one wanted - it sounds like she is learing to love and trust you -

Welcome from me and my 4 cats, Peaches, Josie, Paisley and Arthur. Peaches had a whole bunch of issues when she first came. She had been abandoned and left in a cage at a vet's office for 7 months. Now, she just eats cardboard. She allows limited petting and considers laps a danger area.
