Roast a whole chicken. It's not that hard, and people are always impressed when you serve it to them.

I make chicken and stuffing almost just like that minus the chicken soup and cheese and add cream of mushroom soup...

But that sounds great!

Pot Roast with the works Potato's, Veggies, Gravy, and a nice dessert is always a treat at my house. It also isn't that expensive to make because a cheaper cut of beef like, outside round works the best. Also very little clean up because it can be made all together in one pot. I have made it both crock pot style and roast pan style and they are both great.
As for dessert my favorite quick dessert is poached pears which is super easy to make a really impressive.
If you do your pot roast in the over they can be cook alongside of it.
Very easy simple take the number of pairs you want. Core them with a apple corer, peeled or unpeeled both work. Place a small bit of water in the bottom of a oven safe dish. Add 2tablespoons butter and brown sugar then place pears upright in dish, cover and steam until tender.
Serve them on a plate with a bit of the sauce from the bottom of the dish poured over them, I usually serve with a dollop of whip cream or a spoon of vanilla ice-cream.
Yummy my gosh I am making myself hunger.

What you should do is go on the Kraft foods website and register so you get their quarterly magazine. Its full of some good recipes-you however do not need to use the brand names listed just that same ingredient!!

They are yummy too! DH gets the magazine and we tried a few things from it. I think that is where he got the recipe for muffin meatloaf.
