My tooth is KILLING ME!
I want to pull it myself.
I am scared to death of dentists too! I've had alot of bad experiences with dentists in the past.... LOTS... too gross and greusome to go into.
I am going to try to get an emergency appointment with the dentist tomorrow.
Can I have some vibes?

Im calling dentists right now. I didn't sleep at all last night. Even after taking half a vicodin. I woke every hour or so. Around 6 this morning I woke up in unbearable pain and took another 1/2 a vic. My jaw is extremely swollen and puffy.

I hate having tooth pain. I'd rather give birth again!

Thank you all!

I have an appointment at 1:30 this afternoon for an xray, antibiotics and pain meds. I'll find out then what it's gonna cost to have it pulled

Hang in there, even if you are afraid of dentist seeing one is much better then suffering with a toothache that's for sure...They are the worse.
Keeping my fingers crossed all goes well for you.

Well, they cancelled my apointment today and set it for tomorrow at 1:30
So now I get to go another 24 hours in pain

I just went through this 2 weeks ago and totally emphathize. It turned out that I had a gum infection and the tooth had to go. It was easy, he said; and it really wasn't so bad. The best part was after the novacaine when nothing hurt anymore. Loads of luck to you. Feel better soon.

I am sooo looking forward to it.
My jaw keeps swelling more and more. I'm almost positive the infection is in the gum or worse, the bone. I may end up at the ER tonight if it doesn't ease up. I have been in tears since they rescheduled me

Aww... you poor thing! I can't believe they rescheduled you knowing that your in such pain. I have a relatively high pain tolerance... unless it's my teeh so I know the feeling. Have you tried rinsing w/ listerine? It can help ease the pain sometimes.
