All of you dog owners out there- what is your pup (s) favorite doggie toy???? (feel free to post a picture or link to it!) Also- post how durable the toy is and how long it has survived please
Fosters and Whiskey have quite a few toys at the moment -Stuffies and rawhides are the favorite but we also have a few others. I try to rotate them so they don't get bored with them. Foster's absolute favorites are stuffies and rope toys. Whiskey LOVES rawhides
I a going to get a basket the next time i'm out to put their toys in and teach them to put them away (we taught my wolf mix Ginger (who lives with my mom) to do that when she was a pup! such a smart girl
-her favorite things are stuffies- she can "kill" one of those in about two seconds flat
) What are your pups favorite toys???

oh yes, i must add- Fosters also enjoys cat toys- to be more specific- the "Yeowww Catnip Banana"

My Coco is a tennis ball FREAK! She also loves toys that she can whip people in the shins with.

Macey likes the JW Pet Amaze-a-Treat ball. Treat toys are what she loves!

This is Jake's fav toy...

It's actually not a dog toy.. It's a pumpkin that my mom gave the boys at halloween a few years ago. When you through it, it laughs hysterically

He adopted it literally the day we brought him home. He nurses on it at night too

This is the second one in a year. We've given him other toys but unless it's the same type of fabric, he doesn't want it.

Ebony loves her Wubba! She is gentle with all her toys, but I know other Newf owners have said it's fairly durable.

www.wubbaworld.com

And if you peek through the photo gallery my kitty, Marcel, is there! This is a great company! They donated a bunch of their Wubba's to a Newfoundland Rescue fundraiser I attended.

This is what I've got. Rubber, so it withstands Macey throwing it at the wall.
It's much better than the plastic ones as they can chew it forever. Similar to a Kong....but softer. My girls have black Kongs, the sturdiest, but this rubber treat ball has held up as well as the Kongs!

This is her almost life size boxer stuff (now nicknamed "Frank" because of all the lovely stitches he has all over-lol. She slings him around like there is no tomorrow- don't be standing close by- you'll get whalloped!

And this is her super stretch wiener squeeky dog:

And something I bought for her that she can't stand:

Is that a "I can't believe you've done this to me..." look, or what?

She is also still enjoying the "Busy Buddy" I bought her for when we went out of town- I'm really impressed. It is a nice alternative to her Kong when she gets bored with it, and it unscrews so it can be cleaned throughly (and I think it goes in the dishwasher)- I'll go find the link in case anybody else wants to try one...here it is:

http://www.busybuddytoys.com/moreinfo.cfm?Product_ID=2

She also likes whiffer balls (they don't last long) and WATERING CANS! Arrrgghhhh!

The Busy Buddy....just how little do the treats have to be? Cheerio sized? Bigger? Smaller? That is the only thing that has stopped me from ordering one....I never know what size treats will fit in it!

The Amaze a treat ball can fit treats the size of a quarter....Tiny T Bones fit in there, too. Which is probably why Macey loves it so much.

That is the funniest expression I've ever seen

This is Chester's favourite toy. It's a gigantic treat ball (as big as his head - and he's a big dog) and he has worked out how to pick it up and carry it around. And because he likes to play soccer, he bats it around with his paws, too, it's a good size for that. It's just a little loud though, because it's really hard plastic!!

And they love their clamshell - especially when it's empty!!

Silly babies

Here =D
Tucker (my beagle) is scared of anything that squeaks or makes and sound at all. Squaky toys, talk toys, he's terrified of Furby's. He's also gun-shy, and if like a can pops while we're burning trash, he is GONE. So every time we get him a toy we think he'll like, we have to do surgery on it. We slice it open with a pocket knife, remove the squeaker, and sew it back up. But he doesn't really play alot. Sometimes I just take some old cotton rope and play tug-a-war with him, but that's about it. Oh, wait, the stuffed dog. Tyler had a stuffed yellow puppy, about a foot tall, and Tucker was in LOVE with it. For 5 years, he stole it at any possible time and would hide it. Finally, Tyler gave it to him and Tucker LOVES that doggy. He just plays with stuffies mostly...

Dawg doesn't really like any toys but will carry DH's socks around for hours. Charlie has 4 Aflac ducks, some no longer talk, but he will pull them all out of his toy box until he finds one that will talk. He drives Dawg crazy with them.

The Busy Buddy is adjustable for several sizes of treats. I tear Mattie's venision treats up and mix them and some food in there with it.

I'll put some pics up for comparision size. I don't remember if I have the medium or large though
, and I got mine from Academy Sports.

Pics (clickable thumbnails)-
I used a quarter for comparison

These are the size holes I usually use:

And the stem is pretty flexible (though I wouldn't leave it with her this open- lol

I haven't seen the Amaze treat ball. The only treat ball I have had was one from Walmart that didn't come apart to clean- I found a roach in it, and tossed it in the garbage!

Oh, and what kind of dogs do you have? Are they water dogs?

There's no place like home
My 2 dogs are really weird. They have dozens of toys all over the house and what do they play with? Each other. Seriously, it's a waste of money buying mine toys.

I need to get a more recent picture, but here is a typical moment for them: they need to be together. I'm not sure what they will do if one of the ever gets sick.

Yup, that's 170 pounds of dog on my lap.

Mine like their Booda Cow. Yannik likes to gut stuffies all the time, but he kept Booda Cow intact for over a year. Daisy is good with her toys and likes stuffies (though Yannik makes sure they don't last long) and tug toys. Daisy just turned 13 years and Yannik is 14 months.

Clamshells are kids' sandpits/wading pools that are shaped like a clam. They have a back hinge and a top and bottom and therefore can be closed over if they're used as a sandpit or doubled as a pool and a sandpit - lots of things. We have one for the dogs as a pool - they like to splash and dig in it. It didn't have any water in it that day though and when it's empty they like to lie in it or stand on top of it if it's upside down. It's very versatile!!

And they're standard Australian Labradoodles. Little angels - loves of our lives!

My dog loves the fluffy squeeky toys. I just buy them at the dollar store, cause thier cheap and he goes through them fairly fast.
