Well, as some of you may know, my family just got a 3 year old girl kitten, she does not have a name yet, but nicknamed Sweets, is afraid of her own shadow. Now, I knew that she and Sammy would not get along at first. But when she saw Sammy, she hissed at him, and they got into a fight. Now, she runs into my room and hides under my bed untill Sammy is 500 feet away from her, basically. Right this instant, i am in my basement with Sammy and Sweets, and he is staring at her, and she is hiding under the guest bedroom bed.
Now, I know this will go on for a couple days, but what do i do with her?

Give her a safe place to be, even if only a high up place she can jump to in a corner where he can't follow (no room for him to get onto the perch, but wide enough for her stretch out). And relax, they'll figure it out in time.
