Hi there!!

My name is Theresa and we just adopted a rescue cat, Pearl, who is about 6 years old. Since it's been about 11 years since we last had cats and we had them since they were kittens I thought I'd join this forum for more information!!

She is a beautiful light calico who knows she's the queen bee. We are having issues (minor ones) with licking and nipping at us and a bigger one of biting every once in awhile.

hello and welcome to the site its great here, theres always lots to do, see and learn, it can become a bit of an addiction

Once you get settled maybe you could post some photos of Pearl she sounds such a cuties

Welcome to you from me and my 4, Paisley, Peaches, Arthur and Josie. You'll love it here.

A tip about the biting. Try to have a toy in your hand so that she bites the toy, not you. And distract her with a fishing pole toy that she can chase. Biting is not a fun thing.

as soon as I get home.....and figure out why my camera and photobucket don't like each other.

She's a beauty....first time we've started with a cat and not a kitten.
