Whats your typing speed?

So I was kinda curious what my typing speed was so I went and found this test. Here are my results:

33 wpm
75 words typed
Mistakes made 4

Depending on the test, between 79-80 something words per minute. I kept messing up on the 1 space after each period test because I always type two!

Wow thats fast and few mistakes. I still have a looonnnggg ways to go.

Oh geez! No where near what it was when I worked in an office. Back in the 1980's and early to mid 1990's my typing speed was about 110 to 120 wpm with no errors.

Now it's about 1/2 that if not less and lots of errors, LOL I usually catch them and backspace to fix or edit my posts after the fact. But there are loads of errors now, LOL

EDIT: 57 wpm with 5 mistakes That's 3.8 mistakes per minute. Acceptable is 1 mistake per minute.

I only see 4 red letters in the text, not 5, so I don't know where they get the 5th one from. I transposed the letters i and g in the word "typing", typed an "a" for the "s" in "speed" and I missed a comma in the last line. So that adds up to 4 errors in my books.

Guess I need to brush up on my typing speed.

I can type like 100-120 if I'm not having to 'copy' anything

same here, it got me every time!

My typing speed ranges from 50 - 70 wpm depending on the test

try www.typingtest.com it adjusts to either one space or two after a period and doesn't count it as wrong.

My speed is anywhere between 65 and 100 wpm depending on what I'm typing.

Now that sounds more like me. Especially if its a heated online debate.

Oh yeah, If I'm really upset... Oh boy! You know I'm over here typing AT LEAST 120 wpm lol! But I have a lot more mistakes that way!

My left hand is reserved for the Tab and Shift keys.

87 wpm

mistakes made: 5

Not bad...

On a good day, 80-90wpm....on a bad day, probably like 60.

By the second test I type 31 wpm with 96% accuracy.

69 wpm with 6 mistakes.

I don't like this test. I was typing faster than the curser would move and it kept saying I typed the wrong letter. I wasn't. I had to t y p e l i k e t h i s.
