My cat had a litter of 5 kittens 3 weeks ago. Yesterday one of the kittens died, due to a severe problem he had. He had a huge hernia and was peeing blood. We were going to take him to the vet that day but he passed away before we could.

Today, the day after we realize the remaining 4 kittens smell like a dead body. I've noticed that one of them (can't tell which one yet) is excreting a very horrendous smelling stool that is not solid at all, and is white like undigested milk. The mother is not laying with them at all and I'm afraid she's just abandoning them now. I don't want the poor things to starve to death, and I don't know what's wrong with them. Does anyone have any idea what I can do or what's wrong with them?

I'm going to try to convince my parents to take them to the vet tomorrow. Then we have to find a shelter for them.

Please help quick! This is keeping me awake because I'm so afraid to wake up and one of them be gone.

sounds like mom knows the remaining kittens arnt going to make it, and she is leaving them. your best bet is to get them to a vet ASAP. if you have a emergency vet in the area, use that.
