I have two kittens, Hercules and Xena. They are Siamese Cross kittens. Xena, the female, already has her permanent bottom canines, while Hercules still hasn't got his. Another thing is that they are only 4 1/2 months old, I read that kittens get their permanent teeth between the ages of 5 and 7 months?! Do you have any idea why Xena has her permanent teeth already? Is their a difference between males and females when it comes to teeth? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hmmmm I don't know a direct answer to your question. But the standards can change with cats, I've had some loose their teeth really young as well, both male and female.

Wouldn't really worry about it, as long as their adult teeth grow in.

Hercules is chewing on everything! I am going to try the frozen cloth idea someone told me about and see if it works! Thanks!
