I'm all for bringing attention to the lack of organ donors, but that's just so tasteless.

How tacky! Sure, the issue needs attention but to make people "compete" for organs is ridicules.

Very poor taste in subject matter.
A friend says that BNN is a public access channel over there, at that.
Hopefully the show is blocked.

Tastless is putting it mildly. I would hope NO one would watch something like that - how anyone could degrad themselves is behind me. That's pushing it way over the edge of "reality"........geez.

I don't blame the contestents they are desperate to live, but the program makers are exploiting their desperation, they deserve 100% of the blame IMO.

i just saw that on the news,
i wonder how much longer before we start bringing back blood sport on TV.

Max told me about this last night. I think it's quite the most disgusting thing I've ever heard.

So whats next wheel of kidney's and where you can also win hearts, eyes. and any other body part that can be used?

VERY tasteless!!! I feel bad enough for the people that go through this everyday! They're gambling with people's lives here...it's just not right!

I first saw this on my cystic fibrosis forums, and I was waiting for the punchline...I couldn't believe this was real. Good grief, it's not like they are competing for a new car or even a potential mate- these are their very lives they are talking about- living or dying... It's horrid.

I agree that it's extremely tasteless and degrading. My only hope would be that somehow, this program brings attention to the desperate need we have for organ donors. (However, I sincerely doubt that's the angle the show will take -- it's not sensational enough.)

These producers will do anything to make a buck

It is in very poor taste, making very sick people jump through hoops in hopes of getting a new organ. Makes me shudder to think of what's coming next.

geez and I thought the one with Shar Jackson was bad!! Good greif!

It seems that the show was a 'hoax'.
The woman who was supposed to be giving away a kidney was an actress.

I'm not sure if it should almost be considered a satire against the people that watch this type of garbage and buy into it or just a poor choice for media attention.

I was very amused to see it was a hoax... Sure got a lot of people up in arms

Might have encouraged a few donors also

The roll of eyes was not about the donarship thing - it was about how every one got so agitated and bad mouthing it, when it was so obvious it wasnt anything to do with a TV programme.........so you can have a rasp back
