Can we all just whine about the heat for a minute?

Central air, 2 half gallons of ice cream in the freezer.
Of course, you simply cannot survive in the desert without AC/Central Air or a Swamp Cooler.

Here in Colorado...well, I can't say it's been too terrible. Monday was quite warm at around 85, but yesterday was chilly and rainy, and today is only supposed to be around 60. Springtime in Colorado, that's for sure!
August is... well... August inspires numerous non-family-site-appropriate phrases about its weather. I went to Mexico in late July once and came back to Ohio only to find it grosser and hotter in Ohio and it had been 115 or so and we were outside in the sun all day in Mexico.

But, if you're going to Cleveland, it's always milder there. Columbus, Dayton, Cincinnati... just give up on hairstyles, makeup, and unsticky clothes at the airport.

I saw you had hail somewhere out in Colorado. I was jealous.

The high today was 91 here, but there was like 60% humidity earlier.

DH is soooo rubbing that in right now. He actually had to turn the heat on this morning at the hotel.

You sound just like me! Except I love the snow. This weather causes me to be depressed, the endless long/sunny days. It's way too early for this. I just live for fall and winter. Ahhh.....

I would never whine about the heat - I LOVE the heat!!! Even if it is humid. I wish I lived somewhere where summer lasted all year around.
What I hate is the cold

Ach. It's still HOTT and it's 1 am!

Why would it be that my bedroom is liek 5 degrees warmer than the living room? Size, or is it the vents, or what! I've almost taken to sleeping on the futon out there!

It's about 50F here so no whining about the heat
Suits me actually as I hate hot weather. I'll definitely be moaning if it gets hot here, esp as so few places here have ac. I hate being covered in sweat all the time

Its not really hot here
Its warm, but not enough to annoy me

Then again, i like the heat..and I have a very cool apartment, so I am g2g

The only time I hate the heat is when I blowdry my hair, and it stays wet from sweating

I really really really really REALLY HATE hot weather

I should have been born in Alaska or Norway or something. I don't care how cold it is in the winter, I would be happy if it never got over 70 deg.

I got up at 3am to feed the cats and it was HOT in here. I guess the humidity is back. I put the A/C back on. Going up to 90 until Sunday.

Very hot and humid here in Ontario as well. We had a thunderstorm during the night but it has only made it even more humid. They are predicting 30C (92) for this afternoon with a very high humid-ex rating. Heading off to work in about an hour but would much rather spend the day lounging around my deck. I have this huge birch tree right beside the house my apartment is in and it completely shades my back deck which is fairly cool even on the hottest of days. However my apartment is on the third floor so needless to say it can get pretty toasty inside.
The kitties spend days like today lounging either in the bathtub which is the coolest spot in the house. I also keep my bedroom drapes close and it dark and fairly cool in there for them as well. They certainly aren't to energetic in this heat.

Hot and humid here too. I hate humid hot weather!!! It's basically hot and humid 7 months of the year. I would move, but this is where my job is. The cats are lethargic and miserable as well, even though I do have the ac on about 78 degrees.

Love fall, winter, and I don't like daylight savings.

Me too! I find it is much easier to get warm than to cool off. Summer is just three long, miserable months. Oh what I wouldn't do for A/C!

Let's just say I am NOT looking forward to the bus ride home. It was bad enough at 7 am, 4 pm is going to suck!
