I just saw 'Faithless' who were awesome. Not sure if any of you guys across the pond will have heard of them? I love dance music, my daughter says that I am 'closet clubber'!!

Between bad timing and medical stuff, I wasn't able to make it Texas when they were playing there earlier this month.

That's going to be an incredible show! Ratt is going to be back together with Stephen Pearcy (we'll see how long that lasts!
), Cinderella, Great White, White Lion (I think)... Good 80's glam rock lineup.

They are amazing! I saw them in 1991 with Alice Cooper (and Motorhead, Dangerous Toys and Metal Church), and on their last tour, the reunion tour with Rob Halford. I don't care how old they are, they put on one heck of a show with so much energy on stage.

It's a shame we live so far apart. You like a lot of bands my hubby does & that I refuse to go see.

I`ve only seen Suzanne Vega

It`s so annoying because I live quite close to Brighton and theres always loads of good groups/singers performing there but I`ve got no-one to go with.

Yay! Someone from Wisconsin
I love Summerfest, but I often forget it's going on till it's too late

I have seen:
Garth Brooks
Beach Boys
Metallica
Godsmack
Creed
Tantric
Several local groups..

I'd like to see: Journey, Lacuna Coil, Faith Hill... and lots more! My husband works 2nd shift, so I usually have to find someone else to go with, so I don't get to see a lot of the stuff I'd like.

I am sure I will have a lot of opportunities since I live right in the middle of Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago, basically. Not more than 2 hours to drive to each of them

Around here? Oh definately!! I've never seen a bunch of people more excited about concerts than people from Wisconsin! I hear that Lambeau Stadium is so loud that the opposing teams use different communication equipment so they can hear over the crowd. Too bad the team itself doesn't do better...

I'm from Texas, so the people here continue to amaze me

Man, lots. I've also met many in person. Back in the late 1970's to about 1981 or so I used to bartend at the Concert Hall and the company I worked for also had venues at other concert facilities.

I bartended post concert parties for the following and got to mingle and talk with them:

Harry Belafonte
Pat Benatar
Cliff Richards
Trooper (Ray McGuire is sooooo nice)
Streetheart

********************

Crash Test Dummies (prior to their big success, Brad Roberts was notorious for his house parties. I was at several)

I've also met Johnny Cash a couple of times. The first time I was responsible for causing a riot (long story), lol. The second time I happened to be head waitress in the dining room where I worked and was assigned to his table. He actually remembered me from the incident a couple years earlier, LOL He was a very sweet man!

I've met Roger Daltry from "The Who", but have not seen them in concert. One year my friend and I had made plans to go out to a roaring 20's type function for New Year's Eve and I had to go pick up our tickets at the hotel that was putting it on. It happened that The Who were in concert here the day I went to pick up the tickets, and they happened to be staying in that same hotel. I went into the hotel and some tall guy dressed in black with long stringy blonde hair literally mowed me down on his way out. I was knocked to the ground like a linebacker had hit me! Before I could really register what happened, I was lifted off the floor and set on my feet and this clumsy guy was asking me if I was ok. I had no clue who he was. I was somewhat rattled but I said I was fine. He insisted on buying me a drink in the lounge. I can't say that I had much say in it because as he was insisting he was being ushered into the lounge. He bought me a drink and we talked for awhile. I found out who he was when he asked me if I was going to the concert that evening. I told him no. He offered me some tickets and back stage passes for my trouble. I declined. I had other plans for that evening. My brother was royally ticked at me when I told him I turned down free tickets and passes to see The Who, lol

*********************

Bands/singers that I've seen but haven't met:

David Bowie
Rod Stewart (have seen all but one of his concerts here)
Reba McIntyre (her concert was more like a Las Vegas show. Spectacular)

Sting (what a waste of money that concert was. Crash Test Dummies was the lead in band. They were excellent. Sting came on after and played for less than 40 minutes and then left. Tickets for the show were almost $100.00. I was so pee'd off that I called the promoter. I was told there was no time stipulation as to how long the show would be. All that was required as that he show up and perform. Apparently he could have opted to do one song and leave. I'll ever spend another dime on Sting or "The Police")

Allanah Miles
Sarah Mclachlan
Paula Abdul (She sucked! The lead in band was a group of 3 guys. I was actually more interested in seeing them than her. I forget their name but they were quite popular at the. They should have been the main attraction. They were way better than she was)

Bands I have wanted to see but couldn't get tickets for:

Elton John
Cher
