new preggo kitty

Hello,
My name is Kat and I work at a Petsmart as a dog groomer. On Saturday we had a young female kitty abandoned in a small box that was duct taped closed with two small breathing holes at 6 am. Poor baby she is so skinny and she is pregnant. All she has is a small belly where the kittens are. Her nipples are huge. The vet said she has about three week to go. I've whelped pups before, but never had a pregnant cat. I've fostered bottle babies, and weaned kittens. I need all the help I can get I do have one question I forgot to ask the vet, some of her nipples are lumpy is that normal???

How is your kitty doing?

i have always found that expectent mums have a mass of milk , i dont think its normally lumpy?? but i could be wrong , if it gets hard , hot to the touch , or she seems to be in pain with it , then she will need to go back to the vets.
