Well we managed to trap one of our two feral cats last evening and she is now at the vets being spayed.
Hopefully we might have luck on our side and feral #2 might be trapped tonight.
Thats assuming we do not trap a racoon first.
We had been placing the food in the unset trap for the last week slowly moving the food back in the trap on the next night so they were quite unbothered by the trap itself.

Robbie...that's excellent news...you are 50% there.
BTW....I'd keep that trap handy just in case the "ferals come here to be fixed" neon sign appears above your home.

Good Luck with trapping feral #2.

Well we had to take a break from trapping our other feral due to some health problems with one of our dogs.
However we were back to trapping last night and were successful in trapping her and she is now at the vets for her spay.

Awesome!! So does that mean you have fixed all your ferals?

Yes we only have the 2 ferals and so no more kittens , well worth the effort.

Congratulations for having your entire feral gang speutered!!

I have to chuckle at Katie's observation. We had that exact neon sign hanging at our last house and we finally buckled down and bought our own trap. Too much of a pain to have to rent or borrow one all of the time.

Thanks everyone for your support.
Trapping ones ferals is a little distressing but knowing that they can now lead an active outdoor life under our care without the stress of litters of kittens makes it all worth while.
