Well, I had Smokie, and her kittens out on my grandma's living room floor, and George came to greet Smokie, actually being curious, They were doing fine, and then Smokie, attacked George! She seemed so mild temper, it surprised me when she did this. But, now I know. I won't do it again. Keep momma cat in her room when I am taking care of Oddball's eyes. But this is ok that she wants to protect her babies!
I am proud of her for doing it. And Mika is getting more mild tempered now that her kittens are older.
They will be 5 weeks Tuesday!! And my sis might take one when I want to rehome the little buggers, she better not take one on her own time!
She knows its too early for them to go now though. I told her I want to wait until they are 10-12 weeks to rehome them. But she might take one before them, since I know how my family is.
But, these babies better not be gone, or I will walk over to her house, and steal the baby back! And give it back to Mika. :p Or I won't start them on food at 6 weeks.. hmm. How old should I start them on food? What kind? And the little black baby has opened his eyes! Yesterday!! And Oddball is opening hers! Hers are getting sore, but Jet's, (the black boy) are not!!
But, I will keep all mother's separated from George. No worries.
And to keep babies with mommas, except Mika's, she is ok with me taking them out of the room.. If I am not supposed to do that, then please don't bash me. I won't do that if you guys just tell me.
Thank you for reading!

when i had Icis's litter, i started them on a mix of kitten food ( wet and dry) mixed with some second stage KMR and water, to make a watery mush. once they were eating that well, i just made it drier and drier, until at 7 weeks they were eating wet and dry food with no problems.

Good Luck and cant wait to see pics!
