Challenge: Colour on top of brushes

Thread Starter
This has been requested by a few people, so I found a decent tutorial on it.

Most brushes can only be applied in one colour.

The fractal type brushes and 'space' look brushes look great when applied in white or a light colour and have colour applied on top, here is how to do that.

There is a brush you can practise with here:

Photoshop Elements / Photoshop 7+
PaintShopPro

1. Make sure you use a dark background,
3. a light brush on a new layer
3. and then use a new layer for the colouring shown in the tutorial

You can use any brush you have, the fractals just look good.

Download it and save to desktop, then go to preset manager in photoshop to install it

It is a Holiday day here in the UK and as usual on holidays it is raining.

I'm having way too much fun with this challenge! This is something I've wanted to know how to do for so long!

Here's a couple I did for Betsy - one with roses and one with butterflies
