This will be Jedi's first Christmas and I am wondering how he will be with the Christmas tree? Do I wrap the thing in a hermetically sealed bubble so he can't destroy it??? I can see him now..."I MUST get that angel on top".

Kitty Advice for the Holidays

I kept a spray bottle of water nearby last year for Faile's first Christmas. She still crawled up the tree, but would get out pretty fast when she saw the sprayer.
I also didn't hang anything too low on the tree. I still found ornaments across the room.
I wrapped presents, yesterday. They are in my computer/sewing room. I had to evict Rowdy because she kept stealing the tape and playing with the tissue paper.
She's the reason that we're not putting the tree up until we get back from Vegas. I'm going to stand guard, with the squirt bottle and hope that she gets the message.
Some people have suggested tying balloons to the lower branches. I may try that, too. Rowdy is a very stubborn cat and will, repeatedly do things that she knows better than to do.
