Well, Nyx seems to be in heat now, judging from the way she's acting. For now I'm not worried about her getting pregnant, since she's indoors only and the kitties are too young. But I am not sure when it's safe to spay her. Everyone I talked to says after the kittens are weaned... so should I just wait until they are 12 weeks old? Or is it okay to do it now? The kitties are about 7 weeks old and I still see them nursing once in a while, but they eat regular foods fine.
