Well... I found it...

So, I "lost" my work badge a few days ago. This was odd because I put it in the same spot every night so I can remember where it is. A few moments ago 8-Bit rounded the corner with it in his mouth. Somehow I just KNEW he got into my bag and dragged it out.

I just hope it's not deactivated so I can use it to get into the building.

I think he was on the way there. It's quite possible that I will find it in the tray when I clean them out when I come home.

One just automatically assumes the cat had something to do with it - especially in your household.

I'm surprised it wasn't in the litter pan covered in poo

That's ok, he'll just bury them in the litter box. No one will look for them there.

At work we are required to wear name tags so that patients and family can see our designation and name.

However, Abby loves my metal bar name tag and I can never find it after taking it off. So I gave up on that and when I get to work I write my name on some white tape and tape it to my uniform top, LOL
